Total Commander (ранее WinCmd) — файловый менеджер для Windows™. Встроенные просмотрщики для мультимедиа и графических файлов, распаковщики ZIP, ARJ, LZH, RAR, UC2, TAR, GZ, CAB, ACE и дополнительные dll для других архивных файлов. Встроенный ftp-клиент - можно скачивать/закачивать файлы в несколько потоков, есть докачка, поддержка www-прокси при работе с ftp и есть даже такая функция, как подключение-скачивание-отключение в заданное время к заданному ftp. UUE/MIME/XXE кодирование/декодирование и разрезка/склейка длинных файлов, а также множество других функций, крайне необходимых для работы с файлами. Total Commander работает с сетевыми дисками, поддерживает метод Drag&Drop, осуществляет запуск программ из командной строки с установленными параметрами. В файловый менеджер Total Commander можно подключить плагины, которые значительно расширяют его возможности.

Changes in Total Commander 7.04:
- This update mainly adds support for ZIP encryption, both the old ZIP2.0 format, and the new AES (advanced encryption standard) format.
- It also fixes errors found after the release of Total Commander 7.03, and adds some improvements to existing functions.

Changes in Total Commander 7.04a:
- This update mainly corrects an error in the delete function: It could delete the file under the cursor instead of the selected files if the current directory was changed in the background while the delete confirmation dialog was up (only when the function "Auto-Refresh when the file system changes" was active).
- It also corrects problems with unpacking multi-volume RAR files, AES encryption on NT4, and an access violation when starting minimized to the system tray.
